Panic Now and Freak Out? Please don't.
It seems that the old British propaganda slogan from the blitz, Keep Calm and Carry On, which I keep on the right margin of the Rant, has been re-vamped for our times. It now reads, Panic Now and Freak Out, and is available on coffee mugs. The red has been traded in for blue and the crown has been inverted like the Satanists did with Christ's cross and Robert Redford threatened to do with the American flag in that prison movie he did. Well, I'm not replacing my sidebar image or either of my Republic of Taiwan or Smile, you're on CCTV mugs.
I just don't think they've nailed it yet. And I still prefer the late Douglas Adams' mantra from the front cover of his Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Don't Panic, which I feel is a far more salient pearl, then and now.
