The French riots have gone into their twelfth night and the government has responded by implementing emergency measures including curfews. The irony is that the law being used now was written in 1955 to help put down riots in Algeria.
Over 5900 cars have thus far been torched across France. The good news is that last night it was only 1173 cars as compared to 1400 the night before. The bad news is that five cars have also been set alight in Brussels and five more in Berlin.
