Aid supplies to tsunami victims in the Indonesian province of Aceh were today delayed when a cargo plane hit a cow during landing and closed the capital's airport.
A commander in a US aircraft carrier group that has been playing a pivotal role in flying supplies into the region said it was one of the worst things that could have happened.
"I can't imagine anything worse happening to this airfield right now," said Captain Larry Burt of the USS Abraham Lincoln group.
"...a cargo plane hit a cow during landing and closed the capital's airport." And they don't even have the decency to use an exclamation point. Just one thing after another. Hang on; I'm looking for some photos.
